Turkey Breakfast Sausage


  • Ingredients:


    2 pounds ground turkey

  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground white pepper

  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt

  • 1 teaspoon dried sage

  • ¾ teaspoon ground ginger

  • nonstick cooking spray

    *add two tablespoons of maple syrup if you like the sweet/savory taste

    *Use black pepper if white pepper not on hand


    Directions:

    1. Combine ground turkey, white pepper, salt, sage, ginger together in a large bowl until well blended. Mold into 8 equal-sized patties.

    2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat; coat with butter, oil or nonstick spray.

    3. Add patties and fry until browned on both sides and no longer pink in the center, about 8 minutes on each side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
