Ingredients:
2 pounds ground turkey
1 ½ teaspoons ground white pepper
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dried sage
¾ teaspoon ground ginger
nonstick cooking spray
*add two tablespoons of maple syrup if you like the sweet/savory taste
*Use black pepper if white pepper not on hand
Directions:
Combine ground turkey, white pepper, salt, sage, ginger together in a large bowl until well blended. Mold into 8 equal-sized patties.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat; coat with butter, oil or nonstick spray.
Add patties and fry until browned on both sides and no longer pink in the center, about 8 minutes on each side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
